Whether real d-jays (like on KMET!) crafted the playlist for you, or you sat down to really *listen* to an entire album, it seems like then we could appreciate it all more, or at least differently. I was young in the 70's, but I remember the K-TEL commercials vividly, just like the NuVinyl or Krazy Glue ads.
