This show has been 28 years in the making. When I first started teaching, I created the Frank Sinatra Detention Club and played "Ol' Blue Eyes" to students when I had to give them a detention. This was not punishment, but a way to make detention more enjoyable for me and perhaps get some kids to appreciate the music of this American legend. Now, The Frank Sinatra Detention Club is coming to Vinyl Voyage Radio. This show, streaming live every week starting October 7, will feature nearly two hours of music from Frank Sinatra and Friends. It will also include trivia, movie clips and "Extra Credit Frank Sinatra Questions" - the same ones I have been putting on all on my tests for the last 28 years! The Song of the Week premieres at 10am (central) every Wednesday. It then repeats at 10pm and throughout the week. Little Anthong and the Imperials still make appearances.
